LGBT+ History Month: Hazlerigg Illuminations

About this event

Join the University’s LGBT+ Staff Network, ÌÇÐÄvlog Student Union’s LGBT+ Student Association and colleagues as they celebrate the closing of LGBT+ History Month.

For one night only, Hazlerigg building will be illuminated in rainbow colours. You can hear words of reflection from representatives of the LGBT+ Staff Network and the LGBT+ Student Association, along with a member of the University Senior Leadership Team. All are welcome at this event for members of the ÌÇÐÄvlog LGBT+ community and allies to get together over food and drink to reflect on the month’s activities.

The ‘switch on’ is scheduled for 6pm. Refreshments will be available from 5.15pm.

    Speech Bubble: Performance poetry featuring Bridie Squires

    LU Arts in collaboration with the Creative Writing Society at LSU, is running its popular performance poetry event this month. The evening will feature student and staff performers in an open mic slot, finishing with a headline performance by Bridie Squires. Speech Bubble will be held on Monday 10 February from 7.30pm in The Lounge, LSU.
